Paula Haney

Did you know?
Paula first sold her pies at local Farmer’s Markets and coffee shops. “We did a tasting at one coffee shop, they liked it and then people started calling us.”
Paula has been making pies since she was a little girl. After years working as a fine dining pastry chef she returned to her first pastry love and started the company. When not selling at the Market, she splits her time between the tiny original Hoosier Mama Pie Shop and the new Pie & Coffee cafe both in Chicago.
In 2013, she published her first cookbook The Hoosier Mama Book of Pie, with fellow pie maker Allison Scott. Paula has been recognized by the likes of Bon Appetit and Food & Wine magazines.
An Indiana native, she was formerly the head pastry chef at Pili Pili, One Sixtyblue, and Trio, where she worked with head chef Grant Achatz. Paula and her husband live in Chicago, IL. Website: http://hoosiermamapie.com/index.html
