Neven Maguire trained in some of the highest-profile restaurants in the world: Roscoff in Belfast, The Grand Hotel in Berlin, Lea Linster in Luxembourg, and Arzac Restaurant in San Sebastian. In 2001 Neven took over the family business, and turned a local restaurant in the rural village of Blacklion in Co. Cavan into a national phenomenon. Along the way he has produced numerous cookbooks and has become a television celebrity chef. He hosts a cooking show on PBS Create TV. Neven is the winner of Best Chef and MacNean House has been named Ulster’s Best Restaurant.
