Ingredients
- 4 medium-size tart red apples, cored and diced (do not peel)
- ¾ cup finely chopped celery
- 1/3 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- 2/3-1 cup mayonnaise
Instructions

Stir all ingredients together, adding just enough mayonnaise for good consistency. Cover and chill 2-3 hours. Stir well and serve on lettuce leaves.

Chicken (or Turkey) Waldorf Salad: Prepare as directed but add 3 cups ½” Cubes cold cooked Chicken or turkey meat; increase mayonnaise to 1½ cups, and add about 1 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon white pepper. tea before serving and add more salt, if needed. fore in avocado or papaya halves, in hollowed-out tomatoes, or lettuce cups.

Wow, What a non event. Imagine apples, nuts, celery and mayo. Stunning. Healthy too. Ever hear about using some or all yougurt in place of mayo? Raisins? Staggering iinnovation, I'll run out and buy the book if is flammable and will keep me warm in the winter. Someone should do better.
