Fresh Peach Dessert Sauce
An abundance of peaches in the supermarket inspired this fresh no-cook sauce. Serve over cheesecake or white cake.

Type of Dishdessert sauce
- 4 peaches, peeled and chopped
- ¼ cup (50 mL) granulated sugar
- ½ tsp (2 mL) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp (25 mL) water
In a bowl, combine peaches, sugar, lemon juice and water. Stir gently to mix. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Variation: Add 1 cup (250 mL) blueberries or coarsely diced plums for a mixed fresh fruit sauce.
