Ingredients
- ½ cup low-fat buttermilk
- 2 to 3 tablespoons mayonnaise (any kind)
- 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
- ½ teaspoon onion powder (or to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste)
- 1/8 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions

Measure all ingredients except the black pepper into a small bowl or a jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Use a small whisk to mix until uniform.

Taste to adjust salt and grind in some black pepper to taste.

Cover tightly, and refrigerate until use. Immediately before using, shake well or stir from the bottom.
