Black Cube Stockpot Review

The Black Cube Stainless Steel Nonstick Stockpot from Frieling is like no other pot you have used before. It is made with layers of stainless steel, as well as a nonstick coating. This ensures your food cooks beautifully and nothing sticks to the pan.



The Black Cube line of cookware is one of my favorite. The construction of the pots and pans is like no other. They use a layering technique to incorporate stainless steel with nonstick materials. This means the pan benefits from the even heating of steel with the ease of cooking on a nonstick surface. 



I love that this stockpot is wide, but not very deep. This is great when making soups because you can cook all the mirepoux evenly before adding stock and the remaining ingredients. I also love wide pots because you can stir more easily. This stockpot can be used for more than just making soup recipes. I like using to make chili, mashed potatoes, and large side dishes. You could even use it to make a casserole. 



The lid included with this wonderful pot is equally well-designed. A steam vent on the lid allows the cook to control how much steam builds. I especially love the silicone seal around the lid because it ensures all the hot air stays contained when you have the steam vent closed. 



This is the kind of pot that you will constantly find yourself reaching to use. The great design, quality construction, and size make it a winner!
