Maple Icing

Recipe

Yield: Makes 1½ cups icing

Ingredients

  • 3 cups confectioners sugar
  • 4 to 5 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ teaspoon maple extract (available in most grocery stores and specialty baking shops)

Directions

In a small bowl, combine the confectioners’ sugar and 4 tablespoons of the milk; stir well. Add additional milk to reach the desired consistency. Stir in the maple extract.
