Sometimes the best sauces are the simplest ones. Here, mangos and ginger combine to make an elegant addition to fruity scoops of ice cream.
1. In a food processor or blender, purée mango, ginger and lime juice until smooth.
2. Chocolate Mousse Ice Cream goes well with this sauce, but you can serve it over your favorite ice cream or ice. Sauce will keep, covered and refrigerated, for up to 1 week.
A coulis is a thick sauce or purée. The fruity ones are great to dab on dessert plates or to drizzle over tarts and pies. Keep them in plastic bottles with a small nozzle for easy squeezing.
