Guacomole with Tostados

Recipe

Yield: Makes about 3 cups

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe avocados
  • 2 small ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 to 3 fresh green chiles or jalapeno peppers, deveined, seeded, and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, minced (about ¼ cup)
  • Salt
  • Tostados, for serving

Directions

Mash the avocados in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients, and mix together thoroughly. Serve with the tostados.
