NUTRITIONAL INFO

Our goal at Cookstr is to provide our users with full and accurate nutritional information, enabling them to make choices that best fit with their lifestyle and dietary needs.

Cookstr’s nutritional information is based on data available from the USDA. Our team analyzes each recipe, taking into account both ingredients and cooking procedures. However, the nutritional content of any food you prepare may vary based on methods of preparation, origin and freshness of ingredients, and many other factors beyond Cookstr’s control. In cases where recipes in cookbooks already have nutritional information associated with them, Cookstr supplies the nutritional information provided by the chef or author of that recipe.

Cookstr is not a substitute for the services of a trained health professional. Although Cookstr provides nutritional information for our recipes, the information on Cookstr is for informational purposes only. You acknowledge and agree that no information, services, or materials offered by Cookstr shall be construed as or understood to be medical advice, advice from a registered dietician or health professional, or the equivalent thereof. Wheat, Gluten, Peanut, Tree Nut, Soy, Lactose, and Egg-Free Recipes:
These diets require special understanding. If a recipe is listed as wheat, gluten, peanut, tree nut, soy, lactose or egg-free, we cannot guarantee that ingredients purchased for use in these recipes will be allergen-free because of variations in individual manufacturer's ingredients. When purchasing ingredients for these recipes, you must read product labels every time, to make sure that you are not introducing wheat, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, lactose or egg into your recipes.

If you have any medical or dietary concerns, you should discuss such concerns with your physician, a licensed healthcare professional or registered dietician.
